Female EMCEES/ARTISTS get in FREE!
We're featuring a performance by female emcee PHOENIX:
pHoenix Pagliacci is a 22-year old East York native who has been singing/songwriting since the age of 6. Her love of music has allowed her to work with various artists around the GTA, performing live, co-writing, singing and even rapping on multiple tracks. As a female artist, especially one who raps, pHoenix looks up to successful artists such as Roxanne Shante, Remy Ma and Lauryn Hill, female artists who have broken the mould in their respective genres.

For those who STILL don't know, THE CYPHER is open to all/any MCs to come through and grab the mic. If you show up, you will get mic time (Cypher guarantee!). Freestyle, spit writtens - SPIT IT OUT!
THE CYPHER LYRICIST COMPETITION:
MCs spit their best 16's, competing to win cash.
Details:
-$10 entry fee for each competitor (winner takes all)
-Each artist performs their best verses over random instrumentals
-Whichever MC's verse is judged to be the best will win!
-Competitors who want to participate must sign up at the event no later than 11pm.
- Winner also gets to defend their title (no entry fee) at the next lyricist cypher!
